Because every person is unique, we believe their training should be as well. Every student receives one personalized lesson per week. They can be rescheduled and never expire.
Our Group Classes compliment the individualized training, providing the basics of Shaolin Kempo; a mixture of martial arts, promote team work and teach invaluable life lessons.
Our programs may qualify for tax deductible tuition!
Tiny tigers (3 - 5 years)
Looking to ‘kick start’ your 3 to 5 year old’s ability to understand what focus is while having fun? Then our Tiny Tiger’s program is right for you! Our twice weekly, half hour group classes are perfect for little ones new to the martial arts. Students learn group dynamics, coordination, improve listening skills, develop muscle tone and realize the importance of ‘stranger danger’.
juniors (9 - 13 years)
Understanding that this age can produce a myriad of interesting challenges for our parents, our Juniors Program focuses on goal setting, responsibility and learning techniques that help them control their bodies and actions! Not only do we strive for emotional, mental and social improvement, we will also help your child meet the physical standards required by the State of California.
Dragons (5 - 9 years)
This action packed 45 minute class kicks your elementary age child’s training up a notch; not only providing more detailed self-defense and team building skills, but also help in the development of social acumen and confidence. Each week a life skill will be discussed to allow students to share, learn, grow and overcome the challenges faced at their age together.
Adults (13 years and up!)
It’s never too late to start training in the martial arts! We understand how intimidating it can be walking into a class such as this, especially with the pressure we tend to put on ourselves! Our goal is make you feel comfortable; so you can reduce your stress, meet your fitness/health goals and feel confident! We have had students start at 80 years old; in 4s Ranch, there are no limits!

Introducing our first USSD 4s Ranch COMPETITION OF CONFIDENCE! This event is created to empower every student to strive and thrive throughout their martial arts journey. Every student that competes will receive a trophy and ACKNOWLEDGED for displaying proficiency in one of the following categories: Technique, power or intensity. Students that demonstrate all three qualities will be awarded first, second or third placement trophies.
How much is it?
The event is ONLY $50. It includes both sparring and forms. Their is no discount for participating in one event. The funds go towards the venue, Design 39 Campus, insurance and trophies for every student. It is our goal that every student in 4s Ranch will participate. Payment can easily be made through the information we have on file or separate check or cash. We apologize in advance but we cannot refund money once a student is registered.
*THIS IS A NOT FOR PROFIT EVENT. SHOULD A PROFIT RESULT, PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TOWARDS MILITARY FAMILIES THAT HAVE LOST A LOVED ONE IN THE LINE OF DUTY. FURTHER DETAILS WILL BE PROVIDED*
HOW LONG IS IT?
The event runs from 10 am to 3 pm. The time of your child’s performance will be emailed once we receive all registrations. Each division will run an hour or less. There will be a special performance from all the USSD 4s Ranch Senseis and student black belts at 1 pm with acknowledgement and professional pictures taken of all our USSD 4s Ranch students that have received their black belts!
WHAT ARE THE DIVISIONS?
Your child can participate in forms and sparring. Students can choose to not spar, however, it is encouraged as the event is designed to build their confidence in all areas of their martial arts experience.
DO SPECTATORS HAVE TO PAY?
No! We are grateful for the support our families lend to our school and their children’s training. It is OUR PRIVILEGE to have as many family members attend to cheer their child on!
WHAT DO WE NEED TO BRING?
Students MUST wear their full uniform with the USSD Logo neatly affixed on the left side and their belt rank. Those participating in sparring MUST bring gear, including a mouthguard with a groin protector for the boys.
HOW MANY CHILDREN COMPETE PER EVENT?
As this is a in house event, there will be only 10 to 14 students per ring, creating a fun and efficient environment.
why DOES EVERYONE receive a trophy?
This event is not about winning or losing and we do not believe in ‘participation awards’. That is why we created categories in which students win based upon proficiency in a specific area. Every student has a strength and should be applauded for such. That is why we are calling it The Competition of Confidence. Students that display proficiency in all three categories will be awarded first through third place trophies.
